1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restore Project

With all paint work done, we reassembled the car. It's really starting to shape up!
1969 SS clone Camaro

With only surface rust at most, it was easy to wire brush up the trunk and repaint it with the correct color of Black and Aqua splatter paint as well as a  new jacking instruction decal. All wiring and tail lights were cleaned and restored, and the new weather seal installed.

In this shot you can see just how detailed the under side of this car is. The under body was cleaned and under coated, the 12 bolt rear end was treated to a bath, painted serviced and reinstalled. New rear bushings and a new brake flex line, as well as new two piece front to rear hard brake lines, as a real SS would have were also installed.

Under the hood this car received all the necessary engine and parts to emulate a real SS, this is  as close as if it were to have come off the GM line!  Correct  engine and head cast numbers, GM hoses, clamps, fuel filter and lines are just a few of the many parts used in the engine bay to emulate an SS.

The front end of this 69 is all completed. All new grille, head light bezels, emblems, spoiler ,park light lenses, side marker lights and a re-chromed bumper make up the front nicely. A lot of time and care was spent in all areas of fitting and detailing the "NOSE".

this great car is about finished and will be ready to ship to its new owner , Allen Young of Canton, Michigan soon.  Great care was taken to rebuild this car.  A majority of new parts were used, in addition to great craftsmanship.  Many hard to find parts were diligently  searched for and acquired
